@pat33able how is not being able to do supers cheap? How is taking down a team with just REGULAR phoenix not good, with no supers? Can you do that? The only thing he did wrong in these matches was not switch phoenix in early, to die early, to switch her back out, and use supers with the rest of his team. He had like 5 bars after 2 combos and didn't put in phoenix to use the meters and allow the rest of the team to go all out

Ammy already builds enough meter so that she can use a hyper in a combo and end up with more meter than she started with but either way if you use a meter in a combo the most hyper you can have after is 4 bars, that's enough room for Phoenix to be snapped in and killed, Cl0ck likes to keep 5 bars so that Phoenix is always safe even if she's snapped in.

@jamheald Morrigan's assist gives 1/3 meter. That is the reason why you want to use her. Also, if she comes in, she has a variety of options other than using her supers. I know she is 100% better in close, but if you play a stall game with Ammy and Morrigan well enough, you can get to level 5 in just under a minute.

Using Phoenix forces him to play to the best of his ability without using them. If you question clockworks fighting game skill at all go watch his money match vs Neo in Marvel 2.

@blahblahblah38847 I think he would do fine tbh. The main reason he clutches it up with Phoenix (I think) is because he knows he has Phoenix to fall back on. I think if he replaced Phoenix with another character, and had ample time to train with it, he would be doing a lot of things differently and still be a top player.
