My boyfriend was custom paitning the wii for me and took the wii motion thingy apart and now he cant put it back together.. what is he doing wrong?

Doesn't suck that much power. I haven't noticed any difference with it.

But all it is is two more accelerometers, that could easily been smaller.

Actually your wrong. Its a gyroscope. These are actually very difficult and expensive to get small. Just until recently has it been cost effective.

It gives true 1:1 motion to the Wii. A lot more accurate motion.
