  • @saberladoc me too! :)

  • thought i'd try this out... but i hate it. its a bunch of sound effects -__-

  • pretentious

  • when will people understand that this is the shit?

  • @kwoffy right now

  • DAMN I WAS IN THE SKY WHEN I CLICKED ON JULIO BASHMORE BATTLE FOR MIDDLE ME ... FLY FLY L♥ VE L♥ VE LIVE**

  • BOOBS

  • me gusta

  • great

  • Sneaky song, diggin it.

  • Those were some sick beats.

  • its funny how real dubstep is realy the opposite from what most people consider dubstep to be. Its toned down, not toned up. skrillex doesnt get it.

  • @kwoffy

This is post dub, thats why its toned down.

If you want original dub listen to some magnetic man, or scream.

skrillex is bro step, what all the meat heads and people who don't understand what real dub is listen to, its become over commercializaed and thats all Rusko's fault.

  • @fatcow69moose i understand they consider it post dubstep but i feel like dubstep is a really open ended genre aside from the template of beat pattern or the use of effects. Skream and magnetic man sort of innovated but i think that burial defined the sound of dubstep. And yea, skrillex can suck a fat one.

  • @fatcow69moose you're a fool, dub is a totally different genre.

  • @fatcow69moose oh my daays, shut up, you clearly know fuck all about the genre as a whole stop trying to categorize it, you're embarassing yourself trust me. you didnt even get the genre right, let alone spell skream correctly as well!

  • @fatcow69moose *or digital mystikz :L

  • @fatcow69moose

go rub your clit on all the "postdubstep, dubstpep, dub, electronic" terms.

its good music and thats it

but i agree that rusko isnt the shit

  • @fatcow69moose Dub, my friend, is a spacey jamaican vibe originating from the 70s, it is NOT dubstep, rather one of the components (the other being 2step) which created dubstep.

  • @fatcow69moose you might be right, but still imagine you are one of the main dubstep producers in a time in which the genre enters mainstream more and more. if people buy your stuff, would you retreat just for the sake of the underground? and to keep it real? i doubt that... i guess everyone of us would SELL and SELL and produce more of that sound that most people want. its always a question of trends. and if you made yourself a name and money, you very likely keep follown trends

  • Quality music.

  • Reminds me a lot of Flying Lotus, only dubstep.

Listen to "Something Stellar", and you'll see what I mean.

  • I remember listening to this back in 2008 on a Blackdown mix, almost forgot about it tbh. It's been too long.

    Thanks for jogging my memory!

  • does anybody where that vocal sample is from?

  • James Blake has never been in Mount Kimbie. Ever. However he is playing playing on the same night as them at Warehouse Project

  • @jackpool53 I think people get confused because Blake used to perform live with Mount Kimbie for a good while. I caught them just after the Maybes EP got released, it was pretty great.

  • drop on the snare? classic.

  • `What song is the first synth sample from?

  • @Karlabob thats james.

  • Sounds like portal.

  • f*ckin amanzing boys and girls and plan(e)ts

  • Damn....the sky....

  • always fresh

  • James blake's not a former mount Kimbie Member...

  • @boxson56 Thanks for pointing that out! It seems we overlooked the information, it has now been corrected! Hope it didn't put you off the song :-D

  • @xXheaven69Xx more like underlooked lol

  • @xXheaven69Xx He was a part of them, why do you think they sound so similar?

  • @boxson56 he has been part of their live set though.

  • @boxson56 well he did play with them live for a period, did he not?

  • @boxson56 it sais Collaborator
