i think i got it for 500 i beleive it was so worth it plusi recently installed a nice stable version of ubuntu linux so yeah i say its worth it

oo yeah they dont make these bundles anymore though it was the last one to have backwards compatibility all other new bundles dont have them so if your planning to get one ether get the motorstorm bundle the mgs4 bundle like mine or the original 60gb and 20gb if u dont mind having no wifi and if you dont care about backwards comp. then get the new ones :)

ohhh man thats really till today a tough question honestly ps3 is so sick in terms of technology wise and internet linux use and as for video gaming im mostly using xbox 360 but i dont want to tell you that forsure because this year i have a really good feeling about ps3 though because of killzone 2 heavy rain and alot of games and if you trying to think technical ps3 in a way is cheaper because think about right out of the box you have wifi a rechargable controller changable hdd for cheap

and ps3 allows you freedom of what devices you want to use, it just has alot of options and 360 keeps you limited, 360 does have fun games i will admit but ps3 will be alot better this year also beware of the xbox 360s red ring of death which is like a time bomb to go off anytime in ur 360 lool heh but ive had my 360 since august of the launch year and well i must say i havent had problems with it... yet but i feel it will die eventually you might have to watch reviews and tips on how to decide.

haha tru tru and yes i already connected the hdd be sure if ur getting an external to hit me up because u have to format it with a special program called swissknife from ntsc to fat32 so that the ps3 can read it the ps3 wont read ntfs because sony is against ms in the console war so yeah (they used to allow it tho on an old update) anyways enjoy ur ps3 when u get it make an unboxing would love to see it merry christmas by the way

i would suggest u buy it fast cause these think are selling like hot cakes and 2nd off they are the last ps3 bundles to have backwards comptability i would suggest buying one ASAP even now would be better i suggest take one from here then to UK highly reccomend to do it fast but if u dont care about bw compat then in the fall they should be coming out with an 80gb ps3 to replace the 40gb ps3 and 160gb for 80gb if u want full bw compat for 99% games i would suggest finding the original 60gb

anyways yeah 60gb is 99% bw compat 80gb is software bw compatibility and new 80gb and 160gb will not have any bw compatibility i would recomend if u sorta wanna play some old titles go for 80gb if u want full bw compat 60gb no 160gb

Does the top part, that says "PLAYSTATION 3" exactly the same as the 40gb version, because the box has solid snake "painted" on the PS3, and from what I see, the 80 gb PS3 MGS4 bundle looks exactly like the 40 gb PS3 except without the flip open USB ports.

not sure how to answer this but the 40gb system and 80gb system are the same but 40gb cant play bc games only has 2 usb ports 40gb of hdd space obviously and the 80gb has the flash drive slots and thats it oo and ps3 80gb has a sexy finish chrome but the ps3 40gb is just silver everything else is the same exact thing
