There is few things to say about denmark, we are very little country, we like love peace and hermony. are kind and warmhearted and you well never experience people being cruel or racist against you, we are very social and you should try and come to Roskilde festival! when that is said; ofcouse we have doucebags and racist people. but there is so few of those that you got to be really unlucky to meet them, by the way! we danes drink ALOT and i mean ALOT of beers.

If you are planning on visiting Denmark, then consider visiting Jutland, Aarhus or Viborg.. That area, instead of Copenhagen.. Denmark is much more than Copenhagen, and it's much more beautiful over here :)

The video makes a lot of vague references to mundane activities but doesn't show or talk about anything that would actually justify a trip to the country. But having tropical days in summer and arctic days in winter is not boring to me. This commercial (once again) fails to show the real picture of Denmark with exstremely flat plains, hilly areas, local deserts, fjords that are frozen in the winter, world-famous bridges, old forests and giant beaches that stretches tens of kilometres and are 5 kilometres wide. It's not boring, however sometimes the weather is.
Just about everyone I know that visited Denmark in the last 15 mentioned situations of discrimination towards others (especially black and middle-eastern immigrants).
What a shame, because it looks like a beautiful country.

@KimsanderDK I did read the background information, and I know from the various conservation organizations what has been happening. The problem is not whether the whaling is industrial or not, it's the fact that it still goes on with Danish government approval. That "approval" whether tacit or with full knowledge is still the problem of Denmark. Good on the people for opposing whaling, but it's still there, and I still say boycott Denmark. I would say the same about the USA as well.
@Postie218. Whaling is a special affaire / home rule issue for each of the three coat parts.(Denmark/Greenland/Faroe). The Faroese whaling policy is regulated by local Faroese law. Not Danish. For large whaling, all three coat parts are bound by international obligations to the International Whaling Commission (IWC). Denmark is part of EU, - The Faroe Islands are not.. EU has no common whaling policy and the EU are not members of IWC. - But ofcourse you already knew all that.

To be honest, those are not exactly Romanians, but rather "Roma" from Romania; they are pretty irritatin'; (I believe this "anti-danish" comment belongs to1 of them!). Genuine Romanians mostly come to the NL to do an unqualified work in our agrarian sector; those are neither beggars nor criminals .

Some areas of governmental control still exist, such as military defence, police, justice, currency and foreign affairs. Whaling is one of those concerns still controlled by Denmark, who, has not bothered to stop the slaughter of Pilot whales. I WILL NOT keep quiet about this, as you, and all Dansih people should also be doing. Shame on your ignorance and silence.

@Postie218 The fishing of Pilot Whales is not industrial. In 1995 228 whales where caught. There is aprox. 770.000 Pilot whales in the Northern and central Atlantic. The Danish people are not silent. The Danish people are pushing hard to end the whale fishing. But I guess you didn’t bother to read all the background info before you started to point your finger. I cant send links here, but I will mail you a link to Dansh newspapers, so you can learn about the facts in this case.

@KimsanderDK I did read the background information, and I know from the various conservation organizations what has been happening. The problem is not whether the whaling is industrial or not, it's the fact that it still goes on with Danish government approval. That "approval" whether tacit or with full knowledge is still the problem of Denmark. Good on the people for opposing whaling, but it's still there, and I still say boycott Denmark. I would say the same about the USA as well.

@Postie218. Whaling is a special affaire / home rule issue for each of the three coat parts.(Denmark/Greenland/Faroe). The Faroese whaling policy is regulated by local Faroese law. Not Danish. For large whaling, all three coat parts are bound by international obligations to the International Whaling Commission (IWC). Denmark is part of EU, - The Faroe Islands are not.. EU has no common whaling policy and the EU are not members of IWC. - But ofcourse you already knew all that.

We here in Denmark love to give spaces to everybody, helping other countries, and we like to share our items with you guys.
Then you haters come, and say Denmark sucks so hard, and never do anything for others. I live in a REALLY small town, with only 1000 ppls in it, and we love to share things to each other, donate money, anything to help!.
