Keep the speed up above trim until you are ready to land, then let the bar out to fly level to the ground and then flare quickly as the glider settles. Be ready to climb that training hill about 50 times and dont give up! You can do it!! I'll See you at the mountain soon!
The beeping is from the vario which is an instrument that measures altitude and rate of climb/descent. The vario makes a beeping tone that increases in pitch when the glider is climbing and it is silent when glider is descending.
