I play the game on my Saturn just to get to that stage. Of course, I could just go to SFX and listen but thats not fun.

I prefer VF 2's Akira music. It was simply brilliant. But again it may just be nostalgia since VF 2 was my very first Saturn game.

Well I'm all for them getting rid of the sound of an old Yamaha keyboard midi and I don't think music should have to be immeiately hummable... but VF5's OST is shamefully bland in most respects. At least this had some immediacy and sounded impressive for a vg soundtrack in 1993.

@samhain81 Guitars were ALWAYS a SEGA synonym dude. S.S.T. band proves it but the tunes from SEGA's games back in the day were better without doubt. I haven't heard any synth love for AGES... :(
