I forgot Rass Kass was in this. I don't know why but 1995 was the most inspirational time in Hip Hop music. The best music was coming out then. I wish that could be a fact for today.
Saffir and Rass murdered this shit!!! If they RE-released this shit, It would Murder ALL these new LAME ass punk new bitch rappers...even Mr. Overrated(lil Wayne).
ive been swearing since that my boy was lying that it was on that ST. hahahaa
isnt something else on there? pandamonium pharcyde? im trying to get ol skoo hip hop rare cuts that arent on utube up. i just took this down hahhaaa fukit
This was the joint right here. I never saw the movie but bumped the soundtrack over and over again. Ahmad gained a lot of points in my book because I thought he was just a commercial cat before this joint was out with Back In The Day.
Honestly the soundtrack was just fair in comparison with the those like NJ Drive 1 & 2, High School High, The Show, Above the Rim, Menace 2 Society and etc. The other good joints on the album were- Pharcyde "Pandemonium" and Nas "One On One".
I would exclude New Jersey Drive vol.1, that was somewhat of a disappointment. It picked up with Vol.2, but yes Street Fighter is definitely up there for all time great hip hop soundtracks. You're also forgetting "It's A Street Fight" The B.U.M.S and "Rap Commando" by one hit wonders Another Level. "Street Fighter" by Ice Cube was alrite(sounded like he was goofing around)The Hammer & Prime Time Sanders joint was hot to.
"Can spell hurse with the same /Adams Family apple/grapple hook...."--Saafir was so ahead of the game it was ridiculous.Writers are still tryin' to catch up.
yeah saafir reminds me of a broke version of lord have mercy from the flipmode squad. sf the movie was sooo poorly done and they even had raul julia playin m bison. (shakes head) the soundtrack was cool.

These guys have crazy skills. I would like to see any of the MC's from today try to spit like this.
Even thought it was tied to a shitty movie...this truely is a great example of how hip=hop today cant keep up with this shit.
Anyone agrees.
