I really like this Tokyo Flash watch, looks very cool and in my opinion it's priced well. These are special, limited edition produced watches, not mass produced stuffs like the Casio or Timex.

A lovely watch until you turn it on, then it just looks tacky. They should make a less tacky version of it. Maybe with white LEDs.

@thovan1996 I'm afraid not. The flashing is programmed into the IC chip of the watch. There are other watches at Tokyoflash that are LCD so do not flash however.

@DrPlum It's not ideal for timing a boiled egg, however, Tokyoflash does sell LCD always on watches that have the time down to the second. Check out Kisai Rogue Touch, that would be perfect!

I have this watch, but how often does the battery needs to be charged?

Mine lasts for about two/three weeks, is this normal.

Someone told me it should last for roughly a month.

Also, how can you tell when its fully charged?

Flashing means its charging and I believe when it's nearly full the flashing green lights becomes solid, but it stays solid for several hours. How do I know when it is fully charged?

@MrDoanh86 Hello, depending on how often you use the light up function/animation it should last for 1 month on a single charge. This is typical. It is fully charged when it has been charging for 3.5 hours or more. The flashing light means that it is charging and when it becomes solid, it means it is 90% charged. I hope this answers your question.

Love the look, but I feel they dropped the ball on the interface design. That big disc is just begging to be made into the time display button instead of the fiddly little thing to the side.

@Hardnick I Have one, is absolutely beautiful, but the mineral crystal is actually fragile. mine got suddenly broken after it fell from my hands to a wooden floor and i had to replace the entire case. however, is hard to scratch, mostly because a watch like this is treated with love xD

How do you read the time on this watch

@wisdom261 Hello, it's easy - hours are shown on the inner ring in the same position as numbers on a clock face. groups of five minutes are shown on the outer ring, in the same position as minutes on a clock face. four single minutes are shown at the top. So, you can see in the example in this video the time is 2:35.

At first I bought the rpm black with blue, than I changed the order to rpm ss green and its on its way, but since i like the black one I purchase it so now i have those 2!

I have seen both and it's hard to choose but the Silver and Green really takes you back. The green is brighter than the blue and the contrast between the lens and case in the silver really sets the watch off. Still The black is supper sexy too!

it looks amazing, and the SS limited edition comes with very beautiful shapex extremly well finished. The aspect of the watch is hi tech. Stainless steel is very well polished and shiny. I have The Rogue and somehow I consider that RPM is an upgrade of the Rogue. (maybe because of the shape).
