  • I wanna get Levis jeans for 12 dollars.

  • Towards the late 80s TV shows were becoming a bit plastic. I liked a lot of shows from the early to mid 1980s. Though I did like the Werewolf series.

  • I though I had imagined this show!!! Oh, my thanks for posting this...it wont be on DVD thanks to the copyright with the music people how crappy! Just like the second and all remaining seasons of Malcolm in the Middle

  • damn ive been looking for this show..i used to like it when i was a kid..anybody got it?

  • dis music use to give goosebumbs. it even give me the same goosebumbs hearing it and feeling nostalgic damn

  • OMG I loooooooooooooved beans every friday nights we would all watch that. Plus i remember second chance, I thought I had dreamt that show, there was this one episode where they were taking pics and this girl had put her legs over her head, thats all i remembered about that show lol....

  • Is Soul Train Fashions still in business??

  • I loved this show and I actually remember that episode at the end there. Fox has always been jerks when it comes to cancelling good shows though and they left the audience hanging with Werewolf big time. They introduced an old Nazi who was Werewolf and he freaked the hell out of me...but I never saw the show again. They can't even release a DVD for the first and only season because of some licensing issues with the music, ugh. oh, and LOL at Women in Prison and the young Matthew Perry.

  • @Daemonocracy .... yeah, the first "father" of the werewolves that Eric Cord was searching for, played by Chuck Connors, was Janos Skorzeny... even his NAME was creepy! lol .....then later, he was tracking down the even more powerful Nicholas Remy.

  • Great show!

  • that was from the-fox station in austin KBVO (now KEYE - a CBS station)

  • Show was the bomb.

  • also ide like to add i love the guitar solos in this show

  • as a kid anytime i heard this may be to intense for younger viewers i always tuned in

  • look at these old ass commercials!!! This show used to scare the shit outta me!

  • @JAMFH2007 It was filmed like a true horror film and it worked. Special effects are still top notch, the through the eyes camera to simulate the movement is much more effective than cheap CGI showing the creature scaling walls and jumping over buildings like we see today. This show is also much more mature than the melodramatic stuff we get today.

  • this show was like highlander for werewolves. it was canceled too soon.

  • They were soooo close to finish the story but they didnt make a last episode. They only needed 1 more.

  • Got it all on DVD. Havent seen this in 20 years till I recieved it in the mail. Good music, too!

  • @XRAYZAKKONTATIK - this is on DVD? I thought the DVD release was scrapped?

  • I don't remember since it's been too long. I'm guessing no since the show was cancelled and they would have likely been saving that for a later season that they thought they'd get.

  • It was supposed to have been released already on September 1. Then they changed it to October 6. Now they set it to "To Be Announced" because they're having problems clearing some copyright issues with music that is key to scenes in the show. They said that it will likely not be out in 2009 but in 2010 the earliest.

I really hate those music copyright issues. They really ruin so many DVD sets by altering scenes.

  • And check out who the director of this episode is! James Darren, the "singer" from around 1960. Very interesting.

Also, Theresa Saldana is in this episode!

  • This show was an 80's classic! I loved when dude's hand would bleed before he would change

  • There was also a show called "Mr. President" that starred Conrad Bain (I think) that was on the initial lineup in the spring of '87. Herman's Head--that one rings a bell! I do remember Werewolf and Beans Baxter, also Duet. Didn't Garry Shandling's show also come out in '87?

  • Actually, if I remember correctly, the show "Mr. President" starred George C. Scott (Patton) and Madeline Cahn as the First Lady.

  • You are correct, sir... FRANK0STEIN... It was George C. Scott and Madelein KHAN.

I used to work at a satellite-guide magazine back then, and had to go thru all the media kits we were sent from the networks, and file the photos that were in them. I ended up with quite a cool collection of stuff that was cast off. Wish I still had all that cool promo stuff.

  • Those werewolf costumes looked better than most costumes in ALOT of movies. Lol.

BTW, isn't it weird how I used to watch this when I was like 5, but my girlfriend wasn't even born yet!

  • aww why couldn't a show like this have been produced 20 years later..

    i wasn't in existence yet :(

  • need werewolf on dvd!!!, kicked butt

  • Women in Prison! Finally. I was beginning to think it was a dream. I can't find anyone who knows that show. It isn't even on jump the shark.

  • I also was beginning to think I made it up, too! LOL I watched it all the time back then.

  • Oddly enough it had a fairly renown cast.

  • Yeah, u are not seeing things. That was Matthew Perry before he was on Friends!!! When he played on Second Chance!!

  • DUSHAWN82: Yeah, this was the show's first season. In its second season, the name was changed to "Boys Will Be Boys," and had a couple of conceptual changes.

  • Chuck Connors was the blood-line wolf.

  • TRKoneAD2: Yes... he did such a good job, too... His name as the "head" wolf was Janos Skorzeny. It even SOUNDS evil! lol.... it better, because Skorzeny is also the name of a noted Nazi from the `30s.

  • ive never seen dis b4

  • Werewolf was tight as hell.. I remember Fox's early days well.. they did some innovative things. I remember, some outspoken people were really outraged about the subject matter on 'Married W/Children'.. that stuff seems tame now y'know.. other good early Fox: Duet,.. Tracy Ullman,.. Herman's Head

  • @GeorgeWashingtonX every sunday nights i always had my mom tape tracey ullman so i can watch it the next morning while i ate breakfast to school...man those were the days: great shows, and i was spoiled,lol....miss werewolf:(

  • soul train fashions?!.....hahahahhaah!!......I LOVE THESE videos, i was a fan of all these shows!!!...thanx!!!

  • I also watched & loved Beans Baxter. Mr. Sue, played by Kurtwood Smith (Red Forman from 70's Show) was great. I also watched & loved Second Chance (with Chaz), Tracy Ullman (where the Simpsons first appeared), Married With Children, the first seasons of the Simpsons, Women in Prison (occasionally) & some other shows.

Last year I caught an episode of Werewolf on a DirectTV channel called Chill (an all horror channel---AWESOME!!). I couldn't believe my eyes. Very entertaining.

  • Werewolf kicked so much ass. I loved this show. Too bad it was taken off the air after only 1 season. I don't know if it's because Fox was too young of a station back then to support a show like this. Whatever the reason, this show was very high in quality considering the extent of effects they had back then, so it definitely wasn't that. Maybe Fox was too new and had too few viewers. If it was on today, it would definitely be a top rated show given Fox's current audience.

  • It really did kick ass, WTCVIDMAN. I remember when it was in first-run, I was just amazed. I saw shows like "Werewolf," "Married... With Children," and "The Late Show Starring Arsenio Hall," and I was like "Man, FOX is doing big things against the Big Three! And look how far they've come. Not that I like their programming these days (nor that of any other network), just giving them props for their early innovation and willingness to take risks. Bravo!

  • It's coming out on DVD soon (FINALLY). I got a notification from the tvshowsondvd website. I can't wait.

  • That is a bootleg sight.

  • I know which site you're talking about but I'm talking about the official DVD set. The tvshowsondvd site is not a bootleg site. When you sign up, it sends notifications whenever a show you check off (that you're interested in) has a new DVD set coming out. The site doesn't sell anything. It just has the release dates.

  • I forogot about Werewolf until now. That must have been a Saturday show. Sunday night shows in the early days of the Fox network included MARRIED...WITH CHILDREN,THE TRACY ULLMAN SHOW,21 JUMP STREET,DUET,DOWN AND OUT IN BEVERLY HILLS and MR. PRESIDENT.

  • First Person To Comment! This Is Awesome! Got Anymore Stuff From Fox In 1987?
