Poor baby, to know that he will never be free, enjoying the wild like this parents had, during their youth in Swaziland, however brief it was. Humans are multiplying exponentially, & yet they blame these majestic animals for "destroying" the environment, when in truth elephants from Africa to Asia have gone down over 90% only the last 150 years, due almost exclusively to mankind killing them & taking all the fertile lands. Now, they are kept in 200x300sq.ft cells their whole lives.

I am planning a trip to the Park in March.
Is it possible that any of the three baby elephants that are due n 2009 will be born by then?

On a related note, when does the park plan to open the tram tour for the Asian enclosures?
