Sisimai has that style of his that he seems to incorporate in all of his arranges. It's a quick and light style that really gives it into a cheerful and upbeat feel. The percussion really enhances that feel. It's his left hand action that does it. He basically maintains the original song in his right. The left hand action makes a huge difference though.
Native faith is a perfect theme for his style. This is very nice indeed.
Is this a duo? I think it's just one person in this song.
It's really amazing what a little left hand stuff does. If you listen to his other songs, you will notice the left hand work is practically exactly the same in each one of them. That's the key to his style. That and the drums.
The appeal behind this track is the lovely melody indeed. The light-hearted feeling of joy is really what makes this song so attractive. Upbeat mood, cheery throughout.
True, true, well you see, the main brother (the pianist and the arranger, DauGe) most probably does all the piano work, one brother dedicates himself to all the drumming and finally the last brother most probably does all the background sounds (keyboards), along with some bass and guitars on some songs, and even some Japanese instruments and flutes.
I think there's also one more member who does the album arts of all the albums.
And, above all kudos to their EQ mastery, I mean, the piano just has the perfect sound in most arranges, not too loud/strange (Kokuyasou EQ) and not too low (IKUTO), but not like some piano arranges that sound pretty muffled some times, the piano really takes the spotlight. I also like the way the drummer and pianist complement each other quite well.
Oh yes, of course, many thanks for your comment, and of course, thanks for watching!
Ha, I don't care that you added another to the compilation. It was worth it. :D I also agree that this is better than Marasy's. Not to say that Marasy's isn't amazing, but I just love the sisimai-brothers' duos. I also must say that I quite enjoy your "photoshops" of your avatar. :P
Nice. It has that really jumpy tune.

I'd have to actually ask them to be sure though.
