  • Nice video, just want to ask if this will work on EPSON T13 Cartridges (73N and 91N Carts) thanks.

  • Brothers printers are not better. Nothing but junk.

  • Are you trying to reset Epson original cartridges or compatible cartridges.?

And have you reset any of the other colours success fully.?

  • @cushtydeals you get seprate chips/chip casing that are resetable but even so filling this generation is a ball ache to get correct

  • @crookedfingaz1 Hi. If your trying to refill Epson origional cartridges I agree.

Epson do not want you to reuse their cartridges so purposly make it awkward.

Compatables on the other hand are easy

See Refilling a Cushtydeals cartridge on my forum

  • @cushtydeals lol thats cool dude i do this for a living = ) my company just sticks with good quality compats the return rate on this generation is too high

  • Man, i've got a problem! i have this item and i have a T0714 (yellow) cartidge, i use the special notches C to fix the 9 pin chip; but the red light lights up for 2 seconds and then it keeps to be red and doesn't turn into green!! what do i have to do?? please help me.

  • @cjrd28051994 Me too! I tried this thing out on several other cartridges; out of the 9 I had lying around (old ones) only 2 of them became green at some point. This is very frustrating, I can't get it to work. And yes, I align them perfectly every time, I'm getting quite good at it, it just turns red on me and doesn't work.

  • @kurrizzle probably we can't reset a cartidge when it is completely wasted, so i'll try to buy another and when i used it a little bit, i'll try to reset it :) bye

  • Very inspirational, but I would have liked a descriptive commentary rather than the music.

I imagine Cushtydeals comes from Dellboy. I know Peckham well!!

  • That is the sort of response expected from a novice.

Who rather than learn will throw the printer out the window,

Epson try to deter users from refilling, Resetting their cartridges but as always there is away round it. Some do not have the intellect and are not capable of finding it.

  • OK after seeing a lot of videos, and forums trying to solve multiples issues with all kind of epson printers... i can only say one thing... FUCK EPSON!!

  • i have the nx100, i advise not buying it its a fucking nightmare. the ink has chips on them, even if the cartridge still has ink itll say replace cartridge and u cant print at all until you do. then you buy a 60$ pack of ink and 3 diff times now ive had them not work at all because it couldnt recognise the chips. ive lost so much money on this printer. most the time the paper gets jammed and when it does it counts as a print job, thus making ink last even shorter.

  • where i can purchase ink resetter...

  • @jun12269 on cushtydeals

  • how do i reset the chip with 6 contacts?

  • @lipsbach Which cartridge/printer is it?

  • @cushtydeals i have a C84 and the cartridge is E-441 (black)

  • @lipsbach: The C84 printer TO441 cartridge should have 7 contacts?

But the chip resetter in the video is listed as being able to reset it.

  • @cushtydeals but it's a different kind of chip i haven't seen before! it's not TO, it's E. 6 contacts i'm sure.. i have the resetter with 7 pins.

  • @lipsbach Check your messages

  • is it possible to run a strong magnet over the cartridge to clear the memory? lol

  • @pikachuthesquirtle: I reckon running a 20 ton truck over it will do the job :-)

  • @cushtydeals yeah but that destroys the cartridge. lol i mean the memory should be like any other memory devices... a strong magnet should be able to wipe its memory clean. but will the printer still recognize it though? i mean i got 1 of those 100lb pull magnets... the ones they use in stores to get the security tag off... and they do warn u not to put any storage devices or credit cards on it...

  • It works!! I just bought one for my Epson DX8400 and it works great. And I don't even have original cartriges!! Great product!

  • @cheliuta19 i ahve the same printer as you , unless you changed recently. It is doomed i had mine for half a year and it no longer prints out black.

  • but led don't be turning green before stop reset ?
