This is what my old LP sounded like all those years ago.....This is the authentic sound....I always loved the background chorus of 'psychedelic, psychedelic'.....a lot of people didn't catch that
This song takes me back to my Haight-Ashbury days in San Francisco in 1967 and 1968. I loved it!

Oh! One day after they turned Haight St. into a one-way because of all the tourist coming into the area, Country Joe got a truck with a flatbed trailer so he could set the band up on it. As they slowly came down Haight St., they were playing this song. I'll never forget that!

Forced injections should be stopped. Theirs is a terrorist movement in the oil rich areas. They gave Mo-Bile Alabama the Vapors contract and stole das oil.
Because if you aren't willing to fight for what you have there's always some asshole out there who'll take it away from you. No one is trying to glorify war, but it has solved some things like Slavery, Fascism, Naziism, and Communism.
It's obvious that you are american. Only american people can put Communism in the same category as Slavery, Fascism and Nazism. Communism give to France our health care, and thanks to some french communist everybody can be heal in a hospital (even the poors). And by the way there is no country in the world which had ever been communist. USSR wasn't communist but totalitarian. The idea of communism that Marx has created haven't ever turn into a governement.
skudaarkaat1 just tell me 1 thing. What war was there to solve the slavery problem? Only treatises, common sense and some riots. Probably you should take a look though your history book.
@Glorifisy There's no use in talikng to someone as stupid as you are. Assholes like you will only get upset when they're knocking on your front door, and we now have a president and secretary of state who will sell us out in a heartbeat. If you won't stand for something, you'll fall fo anything!
@Glorifisy First we were fighting communism and keeping the French happy, then we were just trying to save face. In the end saying "You win, we lose" was less embarasing than saying "We can still win this" and we left.
@Ironfistconsumerist im 13 and i totally love this song. i watched it in the Woodstock movie. the same principles aply for this time. "don't ask me i don't give a damn. next stop, afghanistan!"

Yes, true communism has never been around, but the group that calls themselves communists do deserve to be put into that group
