  • a herringbone d-28 (hd-28) would have different binding you could see on the top. it is a regular d-28.

  • do u have class any wher in vancouver

  • ur very good in teching thankx

  • im serious thank you!

  • guitartec to answer your question its a HD28 if you ask me, D28 would have a black pickgaurd, that looks tortoise to me. White front purfling ebony bridge D body, pearl fret marks and white tuners, not 100% sure but could be by seeing the back

  • your cool.xx

  • lady ur lessons are so sweet n simple...thanks a lot for the basics

  • Is that a D2-R or a D-28? The stripped ebony bridge lends itself to the D-2R. Both great guitars.

  • where is the next level guitar in this lesson?

  • Looks and sounds like a Martin 16

  • man next level guitar rocks. they really helped me out at the first when i first got my electric guitar. unfortunately i found practising and learning off a friend was slightly better suited to me, but its an awesome site all the same. i really recommend it.

  • This is great for me a "beginner"!!!!

  • WHERES DAVID?!?! i miss the guy man, where did he go?

  • Hi - its David - I am still doing the youtube lessons - just posted one last week - check all our vids at rockongoodpeople and nextlevelguitar dotcom

    take care -DT

  • sounds neat, but, tutorials a little to detailed, imo, but oh well, good work

  • so whatsup with david taub these days i miss his lessons

  • can u put up something harder please, your a great teacher tho, this stuff just seems to easy but no offense to anyone who cant play it because I've been teaching myself to play for about seven months. Mabey you could put ab an intermediate/advanced strum pattern?

  • Really nice strummin there.Somehow I left that kinda pattern out.

The lady is really funny.I hope we´ll see her again.

What´s that guitar she uses?It has a very full tone and I see no brand name.

  • Is it a Martin guitar??? I LOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEE the way it sounds!! my god! Its great to have some good people like you that teaches for free the basics of such a beautiful instruments!!

  • reminds me of some lifehouse song.

  • Do you need a guitarpick for a nylon stringed guitar? (classic guitar)?

  • Sure. But a real classical style player would not be caught dead with a guitar pick.

  • you can use them or your fingers, personal preference really.

  • That was great, Thanks!

  • i love these vids! they explain it so well :) and megan is awesome :)

  • d/u/d/u/d/u

    d=down

    u=up

  • She is hot....great vid

  • It looks like she could burst in laughter any time :D but nice strum pattern thanks! :)

  • d/ means down u/ means up

  • Do steel string acoustic guitars have led in the strings?

  • Only the ones used by Jimmy Page.

  • this sounds so CCR to me..thanks

    "as long as I remember..."

  • actually, Down on the Corner by CCR uses a variation of this strum pattern. they would sound very similar if you listened to one after another at the same speed. there may be other songs, but that is one i am sure of. good beginners song too.

  • i love how she giggles at end when she says rock on , dont be shy girl . say it like ROCK ON GOOD PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!

  • You need to make us feel the power of the rock on!
