@DjAquaMontreal - Apart from time code it self Serato didn't have ANY of the features that Traktor 3 had when this video was shot over 2 years ago. It's only thanks to Traktors many features serato now enjoys fx, external source record, midi control but seratp only supports 4 decks if you drop over 2g on the 4 channel rane mixer! Plus there's a number of things mentioned in this video Serato simply can NOT do, it doesn't pay for company's to lie about there own and there rival products.

people who keep takin about how digital vinyl is cheating because i does stuff for you, thats crap. if it does some stuff for you, you need to step up your game and stop using old tricks and create some new ones if the computer can do it automaically. some systems can have two loops on the same record. that cant really happen but the computer can do it. its up to DJs to use that technology creatively and do something new. DJs dont play with vinyl or cds or mp3s, they play with music.

I've got the luxury of both Traktor and Serato Scratch and Serato is definately more suited to hip hop, mainly because of the ability to record on the fly from a mic and instantly playback the sample, making for some brilliant DJ/MC interaction.

 Traktor is my choice because I can run Scratch alongside Traktor 3 and have 6 decks and 6 seperate FX to play with. Traktor wins the award from my point of view.Any Questions? <------14 Years as a DJ and 5 years using Scratch so I have a few answers.
