I personally loved the movie but to each their own I suppose..The fact that Lexi and "Scar" helped each other was awesome considering the Preds dislike for humans in the other movies. I still think she should have gone with them at the end. They knew she could fight and took out the queen pretty much by herself.No easy feat. Hence why she was allowed to take the weapon..Awesome movie.Great story line.

Yes, maybe not a brilliant movie, but the fighting scenes were really good, imho... The thing that I liked most was that, in the separated series, you see humans fighting from a distance against the foes, shooting like madmen, but when the monsters came too near they were absolutely fucked up; in this movie you actually see aliens and predators involved in melée fighting scenes! :-)

The problem with this and AvP: R is that it ignored everything that the original Dark Horse comics set out about the two species. Aliens were considered lesser prey than Humans. Getting killed by an Alien was considered a sign of stupidity in a young Hunter. Also the Predators' weapons and armor were unaffected by acid blood.

Visual effects were brilliant but it was the only good thing about this film. The storyline is primitive, the acting is trash, the idea with friendship between young predator and Sanaa Lathan is ridiculous. They should have put Sigourney Weaver and Arnold Schwarzenegger in it. It would be the Bomb! Sanaa Lathan can't act at all.

Anyway I always preferred Aliens. Predators are Nothing without weapon no matter how smart they are. Aliens are much stronger, faster monsters with great body design

@Ghostbloodman027 Really..... ONE alien killed 2 predators in this film, that was coz the preds had no weapons, so in general the aliens are great fighters, predators seem to sit there and let the shoulder gun, blades, and bombs do the work, without their brains they wouldn't be so cool

@Magnolia296 Well yes, aliens are stronger but they are just like animals, the predators is more like a organised civilization, like a human and a bear! A bear is stronger physically but a human is smarter,can build up traps,build up a strategy and we have invented advanced weapons and tools! So yes if i put a unarmed predator versus an alien the alien would win but if the predator race decided to eliminate all of the aliens.....well bye bye alien

@Magnolia296 If a dog sees a bear trap in its way of course it will go around it. Aliens go with instincts and so does the predator but the predator is more advanced. Aliens are quiet and stays at the shadows while the predators use camouflage. As i said Yes Aliens are stronger then predators physically BUT if theres a war between the entire Alien and the Predator Race Predator will slaughterer them.

P.S And i like the Predators because there so badass with there Wolverine claws :)

@dewin50 Well, I prefer Aliens, cause they are more unique creatures and Alien movies are much scarier and more interesting. If there was a war between them, Aliens would win, they would not give a chance to predators and their traps.

@Magnolia296 yes i know that scene..i wouldnt agree,aliens are quick and agile bugs,thats all,many peoples says it's because weapons..well you have to be smart to develop auto-aiming cannon and use it..also they die easily,predators in most cases bring everything with him "to grave" also in this movie,humans are stupid ones,same does in first movie..they were actually saving humans,but no,Weyland dude or whatever is he called he ad to ignite Hunter lol

@KRAUSER0130 predators are great hunters but I still think that aliens would kill them easily. Predators have better developed adaptation and yes, they're a bit smart but aliens are way more unique creatures. Acid instead of blood can prove that. They aren't just quick. Their reaction is amazing. And they have better/scarier look. That's why Alien films became classic (first 2) not predator

@Magnolia296 predators have great strenght too :) but you are right in melee the alien would and should rip everything apart . you should see the new COLONIAL MARINES game trailer the game SUCKS pardon me ASSSSS .......... there is a part where the alien is actualy pushed back and defeated in a melee tug of war fight human vs alien .......his head shot off clean with a shotgun at 1 meter distance max and the player still survives the ACID SPRAY !
