Hi!

I'm 17 and I dont wanna wait a year to join Second Life.

I heard they transfer you over to Second Life when you hit 18

But I wont be 18 til next summer xD!

I'd really would enjoy joining the Second Life commmunity! ^-^

I draw Manga and Anime, and I love to read and write! Im bad at math but I think I could probably find a tudor! xD I have a Cell Phone and I dont have a paypal account do I still need one of those to sign up? Also is Teen Second Life still up and running?

Someone told me the other night , that Teen Grid is gonna be turned over to main grid along with all teen grid residents. Well "apparently" the age verification methods now implemented will shield any u18 residents from straying where they should,nt. I always have doubted about TSL as any kid these days can open a main grid acct , my 15yo nephew managed it. He used to constantly hassle me for L$ , till he started a sucessfull lil club. lmao.

Thats like dropping ur teen at a school that ur not allowed to enter...and they wonder why teens go on main grids??? Some people like the linden labs can be geniouses when it comes to technology but where in the heck is there common sense???

yah I say if linden labs wants kids to be in teen sl then they need to figure something out with the cell and paypal crap.....How many teens have a paypal??? mine don't...I think the best way to do it is to link the teen to the parents main sl account if they have a parent that is on sl. Or parent prove by drivers licence and birth record that the child is there child...and submit the right for a parent to come into teen sl to check on there kids activities.

I want a teen second life account but I'm not 13, I don't have a cell, and I don't have a paypal. I think they need to use some common sense. Most teens don't have a paypal. I think they should reverse that with the adult one.

@for4farmers Lol now theyve merged the grids and you have to be 16 to play. Its a 16+ grid, general 16-18+ people. Sucks cause I dont turn 16 till the end of summer.

I need your help! I was trying to sign in for teen second life, but when I click where it says "click here for a FREE lifetime basic account", it takes me to the main grid and when I put my age, it says "select ID method" and I have to choose between mobile phone or PayPal, and if I write a year earlier than my birthday date, it doesn't show up..

So wtf? It's free on the main grid (for adults) but I have to pay if I want to be in the teen version?? I just don't get it..

yep, anyone 13-17 can come to Teen Second Life. The particular island of Eye4You doesn't exist anymore but other open estate islands on the teen grid you can go to

yes if ur 13 to 17 u have to be in the teen one by law..and u have to prove u age..for example I sent in a picture of my birth certificate...and to get into the adult world u have to be at least 18...but the teen one isnt that bad..u just need to make stuff

I don't understand why they've made it soo complcated for the teens to get an account and download it... it's easy with the adult vertion.... The paypal is mostly for non-US residents since they wouldn't have a US cell phone which is another way you can register.

Sure-if you click on 'map' at the lower left of your screen and then type in Eye4You Alliance under landmarks you can teleport there.

Yes you can have animal avatars just type quad in search. You need to put in your or a parent's cell phone number and it"ll send you a text message and thats how you get on. :3
