You forgot to mention to Hilter that New Vegas is a true installment of the Fallout series and not some abomination that Bethshista popped out. I just hope that Obsidian gets one more take on the Fallout series since they have the maker himself ,Tim Cain, in their studio. Fallout 3 required patches. Skyrim required patches. And those were both games that Bethesda spent 4-5 years on making. Obsidian only had a year and a half to make New Vegas (and made over twice as much content as Fallout 3 in less than half the time Bethesda did).

I'd say it was quite good, and would have had fewer bugs if they were given more time to iron everything out.

I finished the whole game (not the expansions) without a single CTD. I was surprised that New Vegas ran so smoothly, since I had tons of problems with fallout 3 (That game crashed WAY TOO OFTEN...). I know that a lot of people had epic problems with NV, but I wasn't one of them.

I have a fairly powerful gaming PC and it went from not working at all under windows 7 to having the bugs themselves having other sub-bugs then Megaton blows up. IN OBLIVION! So yeah, thats totally random and nonrelated to the hardware quality. Btw, sorry for any mistake. In my timezone it's almost half past 4AM. And i'm not a native speaker.
