Well knowing nikon they will come out with something close to perfect for it. And atleast with the adapter they come closer to giving you the variety you expect from nikon til they come out with more nikon one lenses
@smiilez11 only partly, because you have to take the crop factor into consideration. If you'd mount a 50 mm lens you have to multiply that by 2,7. In result a 50 mm Lens would give the optical impression of an 135 mm lens, which is good for telephotography. But if you want to shoot wide angles the normal lenses wouldn't be much help. For that we need Nikon to build better prime lenses especially for the Nikon 1 system.

They have an adapter so you can use most of nikons lenses so problem solved
