  • I make fun of people for using windows xp still... yet you have dial up and windows 98. Looks like someone is stuck in the 90's

  • @MarshallRA Actually, I had DSL at the time which came with a dial-up account (which I used for this video) and the Windows 98 was a Virtual Machine (VM) not my actual OS. BTW, Windows xp rocks!!

  • @nickjuly4A Oh I see, lol I skipped the first few minutes and saw 98, where the beginning was XP. Still, XP is old as fuck, it came out ten years ago and people still use it.

  • @MarshallRA lol. Don't you miss 98, or especially ME? :P xD Though, just because xp is old that doesn't mean it's bad or anything.

  • Dude, if your Wii is snoring, there is a problem LOL

  • who in your family is snoring it is so annoying.

  • @roghelgesen My Dad, lol

  • Hahahahahhaha i hear snoring LOL

    I shall try this

  • Man, really really thankss... ill trit now

  • i need all files that finish with ".mib" or ".mi_" an example is "ftp.mib"

  • Here's the URL to download the files:

    tinyurl(dot)com/r4kdtz

  • =S ... thats mi problem.. I dont have those files... there is any chance u can send me that files ? using msn or gmail i dont know.. pleasee help me..

  • What files do you need spcifically?

  • whats the name of the windows disk u used ???.. couse im tring to install that conection sharing or something like that but my window cd doesnt have some requiered files.... so .. what cd did u used ???

  • I didn't need to use any Windows disc since m computer came with Windows xp so all the needed files were on the hard disk.

  • Two questions:

    1. What kind of wireless router did you use for this tutorial?

    2. Did the router you use have a USB port?

  • 1. Linksys Wireless G router (Model WRT54GS)

    2. No

  • my linksys wireless sucks lol i keep losing conn

  • I wish I had known this when I still had dialup. I had to wait several months to switch to something faster so I could go online.

I learn something new every day.

  • No. And I'm not entirely sure that I even have a LAN port. Can you connect wireless routers via USB?

  • Well, some wireless router's can be connected through USB but you would need a wireless router that has a USB port on it.

  • On my computer, it doesn't say Allow to share or whatever. I'm running Windows XP 32 bit edition. What could the problem be?

  • What does it show when you go to the advanced tab?

  • It just says some stuff about Windows Firewall. No "Allow to share" checkbox. What can I do to make it appear?

  • Is your Local Area Connection availible (Enabled and connected) because if nothing is connected it will be disabled.

  • I'm sorry -- could you tell me how I would go about making LAN available? And what would I connect and where? Thank you.

  • Well, first of all, do you have a wireless router or anything at all conncted to your ethernet (LAN) port?

  • Dial-up wont lag everyone, and doesn't lag very much on most Nintendo wii games anyways since most Nintendo games don't use very much bandwidth anyways. The only game that I can think of that uses quite a bit of bandwidth is Brawl but with a good dial-up connection you'll be able to play online just fine.

Also some people either can't afford to get broadband or just can't get in because they live in a area where broadband is not supported. Just saying.

  • So, if you don't like it then I suggest not playing online because no matter what there are going to be dial-up users since everyone knows about it now, and no matter what there's always going to be times when you expirience lag even if eveyone is on a broadband connection. It happens to everyone sometimes; deal with it.

  • I'm having a problem, when i click "share this internet connection it said that an the ip address is already being used, (Windows XP, Net gear router)

  • That's because Windows is trying to change your Computer's IP Address to 192.168.0.1 which is probably your router's IP Address. Go to 192.168.0.1 (in your internet browser) then change your router's IP Address to 192.168.1.1

  • Thanks man!

  • also, I wounder if this would work for psp? did for ds... why not psp?

  • the PSP should work too, I just didn't have a PSP at the time. I'm working on a PSP version of this video since I recently got a new PSP.

  • Check out the PSP video right now if you want.

  • Hey You Should Redo this With Cam Studio, easier to read + no snoring!

  • Lol, yea, but then there would be no sound at all. The snoring is something at least. xD

  • is someone snoring in the backround?

  • Yes, my Dad. xD

  • yeah, my dad does that too :-)
