Put the regulator lower on your back. The bottle's valves and reg's body should be nestled between your shoulder blades. That will improve breathing comfort a lot....
The plabe here is at about 12m [35 feet] I think, but we dived down to about 22m [65 feet on that ocassion...just below the thermocline where the water changed from being 20c [60F] to a very chilly 4c [37F] as I recall. The dive took place at Portage Quarry dive lake ,near Findlay,Ohio...a place I can recommend 100%,not least because of the really helpful and friendly crew that run the dive centre!
Erm I do not think so...but in very shallow water watch out for the positioning of the Mistral mouthpiece as they do tend to freeflow in the wrong position. I have switched over to my pony reg and my octopus reg and the Mistral does not free flow when it is out of the mouth Turn the reg downwards.when you remove it and keep it at your neck...hope that helps!

Hi there Lee. Didn't realize you were on You Tube.
Looks like fun. I got to make it out to the dive gathering one of these years.
