Dude! i will never diss you for playing along the Robert and Simon bass/guitar parts... before you post it on YouTube, get the TAB first. You did fine but were way off on the bass line. I know it sounds like you have it, but you don't. the last note on the bass is E, your open 4th (lowest), the big string. do the C and the D but end with and E not an octave up... It will work, trust me...

The guitar is just chorus and delay, fairly straightforward with just amp tweaking. For the bass though you got to boost your treble settings to get that pinging, it's really absent of any bass tone at all.
