I don't believe Allen was the Zodiac, but that woman claimed the Zodiac wasn't sadistic. Didn't he brutally stab a couple of people? I don't know how you measure sadistic, but stabbing somebody several times sounds a little sadistic to me.

the only reason police didn't find the murder weapons and stuff like that is because he had cleaned out the place where he had lived and moved out to live in a trailer. 48 hours before that he was interviewed by police. it's a little strange that he'd clean where he lived and move out right after he was interviewed by police. he could've easily disposed of the evidence after the interview and that's why only 5 of the zodiac killings can be linked to him. they all occurred before the interview.

You can't force a square peg into a round hole. Nothing foresically has linked Allen to the Zodiac killings, DNA, handwriting or anything found during search warrants. Btw, Mageau said he wasn't sure it was Allen so these investigators need to move on and stop fabricating these myths.

@ruedydude - They found bomb parts exactly as indicated in the letters Z sent in about the bus bombing he threatened.

An eyewitness account from a man who was shot by Z who picked ALA's picture out definitively.

DNA from the stamp could've come from anyone. BOTH SIDES of the stamp were in the test. DNA could've gotten on there from any number of people.

Z was a cryptographer. Why WOULDN'T a cryptographer change his handwriting? Everyone knew it was one means to gauge likelihood of guilt.

The lady in the clip seems to want to rule out Allen no matter what, even though he might not be Zodiac, she seems to want to dismiss the possibility that it could be Allen. Who knows? Maybe it was him.

I have also heard that the police were all hiding eviddence from each other because they wanted to take the credit for his capture, but what they should have done was work together. This guy was clever.

It just seems that the Police would have found something, at least a print. I think that Allen actually wanted to be considered a viable suspect, which explains some of his bizarre behavior to the Police.

Its beyond reasonable doubt that it was Allen unless these friends of his are lying but he fits the guy to a Tee..he was all the things necessary for this guy to fulfill what he wanted to do. Not all people can kill in cold blood and Alan offered his services for this, i would put a 90% chance this is the guy. Does anyone know if allen knew the first female victim in any way?

its psychotic, not sadistic. Shooting people is not classed as sadistic and neither is stabbing to death. Sadism requires extended torture with a live victim.

Zodiac hated women because he couldn't have them. ALA fits this perfectly.

Zodiac was sadistic in all correspondence with the police. Speaking of torturing his slaves, and taunting the police etc. These are the actions of a sadist. Again. ALA fits the profile.

The Zodiac was a cryptologist. What makes you think that a serial killer so into cryptology would not attempt to alter his own handwriting? The guy was creating new alphabets when writing those codes.

The handwriting not matching is absolutely ZERO reason to dismiss ANYONE as a suspect in this case.

i think allen was working with jack tarrance i just have that feeling.allens handwriting didnt match the zodiacs but jacks did. jack looked like the zodiac and he had the hood. he had the same car and same shoe size. he had a knife about 12 inches which is the knife the zodiac used to kill.. even jack tarrance admited he was the zodiac and he was amazingly smart since he was in the air force and the navy. i dont know what allen has to do with the zodiac theres almost no evidence on him.

There are plenty of them on ebay. The right question may be how rare 'were' zodiac watches in the 1969 time frame when he received it and the name/symbol was first used.

Good question. I read an article that said that Zodiac watches were in almost every Navy Seal locker. Interesting that all the killings were around water and the military boots.

I think the real question is why would he keep wearing the watch if so distressed about being named a suspect and 'harassed' about it?

If he was innocent it'd be a constant reminder of the false accusations.

If he was guilty it would be something to laugh at the cops about, which is exactly what he loved doing.

Leigh could of worked with jack. Why wasnt any lie

detector test given,even thou its enimisable in court. it would of showed the law something. The guy liked little girls,he wasnt the kind of man that

I watched this movie several times,back in NYC,

and i really think that Leigh Allen was the Zodiac. Today if he had done these crimes,they would of had him. However,as well as Authur Leigh Allen

spoke,and with the IQ he had,he could do about anything and get away with it. The two officers that night on Washington and Cherry were not too

swift,as everyone knows. Tochi was so disgusted

with the two of them. One could of detained him,whlile the other officer could of kept riding his

bike.
