How would you separate corporate self interest and political doctrine?

I feel that since you are in a position of influence in the media, you have a responsibility to not only report the news legitimately , but to also educate people to think critically about situations. Rather than this polarization of old schools of thought , that have been looming for the last 80 years with minor adjustments.

You are wrong. The upper middle class/middle class have dropped out of this economy, not because of lack of money. This is a culture war and we are speaking with our wallets. I have money yet I will drop out of this economy, Im not alone!
