The very interesting point is, just recently one of our youtube friend has shared the Tamil version of this song - As Naya Daur was dubbed in Tamil as Pathaleen Sabadam (the vow of pathal) - and same music is retained.

thsi was not originally in colour (I am guessing) but after putting the colour in it it looks even more beautiful (not saying it was not before). Vyjayanthimalaji looks beautiful and such a graceful actress. And what can be said about Dilip Sahab. Nothing because whatever I say will fall short.

If I recall correctly, the movie 'Naya Daur' was filmed in Black & White. This lovely (and famous) musical scene is colourized. Is there a colour version of this old time favourite movie out there? Please comment.

There is a color version of the movie which was released few years back. It is one of BR Chopra's classic and he was alive when this color version was released in his honor. It is a classic gem of Indian movies and one of the best performances by both Dilip Kumar and Vaijainthimala.
