He didn't get shocked because the current passes through from one terminal to another,he's isolated from the circuit unless he touches the contacts or metal between the terminals.it's why when you mig weld you can hold or touch the metal being welded without getting shocked.

@korne678 no because both terminals meet on the metal thus closing the circuit. now had one lead touched his flesh and the other the metal, that part of his flesh would be part of the circuit.

@korne678 the voltage difference between the two poles of the capacitor is the source of the voltage difference, the current would only go to close the voltage gap, so no he wont get electrocuted...as seen in the vid
