Thanks for this. Up until now, I was a Canadian who went along half-supporting the royal family without really knowing what they do, except their charity events they always seem to put on. But I agree with everything you've said. We forget the "ancient" royal family were responsible for so much bad, and Americans and Canadians forget we fought wars to separate from them. Needless to say I'll be researching more into this. The truth must be told.
