I'm trying to find out when I can tryout for my sophomore year, cause I didn't make it my freshman year. When I try to talk to my friend who's a cheerleader she just says,"talk to the coach." I'd try too, but I'm shy when it comes to talking.. ._.

Im a freshman this year and sophmore year i want to tryout for cheerleading. i have NO expirience and i really want to be a cheerleader! if i take some classes for cheer do you think i could make the team? do i have to know how to tumble?

@HarlowChick in high school you usually have to be able to do at least a little tumbling, maybe a back handspring (at least at my school, thats how it is!!) i would spend freshman year practicing your tumbling and cheer skills, because if you go in there not knowing anything, it will be VERY intimidating (trust me on this one!) if you do all this, i think you'll do just fine! :) good luck! :)

my mom was the captain of her cheer leading squad in highschool.......im in middle school and in 8th grade...i tried out in 6th, and 7th grade but still didnt make it..im still pondering wether or not to tryout this year..i took up tumbling classes and have improved...hopefully ill make it this year but i dont think i will!=[

@caseygirl1010101 you will never make it if you don' believe in yourself!! the judges are going to look for CONFIDENCE and a great smile!! you have to believe in yourself, and even if you don't make it, keep trying!! :) Good luck!! :)

i could do all the stuff, like toe touch, roundoff, cartwheel, tumble

but i didn't make it because my butt was tooo big :[
