You guys are GOOD tourists! When I lived and worked in Egypt, I also LOVED having fun with the kids. I used to try to communicate with them. I'd take their photo and give them a few piasters for it. I even gave street kids cold water. BUT the local Egyptians would pry into my own business and shew the kids away. They hated them! I mean, an Egyptian would run from 3 blocks away just to chase kids away from me! I used to tell them to mind their own damn business.
