midnightrider is an idiot becuase u think that barrel racing is calf roping. and u should have put in the vid barrel racing, cutting, valuting, showing, polo, endurnace, and cross country. and cows r smart. and bucking broncos and bull riden is abuse becuase they have a bucking srap they cut open there sides plus get an electric strap some times and for stallions get there balls tied together.
The strap may rub. And the electric prod does not hurt the horse. The studs dont get there balls tied together. Do you barrel race at rodeos or just local events.

And i have never seen a barrel horse at a rodeo who does not like its job. NOTHING is abuse if the riders are kind. If you're beating a horse till it jumps, thats abuse, if youre beating it till it does anything, its abuse... I know its easy to get angry, when my horse wouldn't jump, i got angry and hit him, but then I tried being kind, not getting angry, keeping calm, and he understood me better, now he jumps small jumps.
yes i agree but the majority of barrel races including some of my friedns are to abusive in barel races wit their crops, im sorry i do not prefer some of their tools

well....some rodeos are abit abusive, not all, must of them aren't, they have protection gear on the calf. They way you are doing calf roping, probally doesn't hurt them that much. Its just that some people run towards the calf at a gallop, and then they catch the calf and the calf goes flying in the air. But i'm not saying its abusive, i just didn't put any rodeo clips in case sme people did. So keep working with your horse Rusty!
my dad bought me a cow horse, because he is into cow sense ect, and iv been practicing on him for a while and hes my best freidn his names rusty and hes a quarter horse, i also am learning how to calf rope and iv put everything iv got into it, i didnt know it was abusiv, and im nice to the calfs, and i try not to hurt them, is it really abuse? because if it is, my dad will make me sell my horse:( im confused, it totaly dosnt look abusiv:(
