Sorry...this guys is good, but Roger and Brian should not tour with anyone at this point as Queen. A tribute band tour is fine, but if the original members want to make NEW music with this cat, that is fine, but please don't call it Queen. Create and tour all you want under a different name though. It may even sound like Queen, but don't use Queen. And Lamebert is brutal...sorry. Congrats to all winners and nice job Roger! It's a good thing that Marc will be touring with them. I'm saying this as a big queen fan. Think of it this way, if ACDC disbanded when Bon Scott died we would've lost a lot of years of very good music, but Brian Johnson stepped up and toured and even released great new songs. @SBFlanker AC/DC was a different monster all together. When Bon died, they fetched themselves another singer in about a year. Freddie has been gone for 20. We've already lost years of very good music. I'm not saying that they can't accomplish good music with Martel, I'm saying that it's a little late for Queen.

I just heard that Queen were thinking of doing a tour with Adam Lambert. I heard them live in Ireland with him and they sounded like Adam Lambert's backup band doing a Queen song. It didn't sound like "Queen." I think Roger and Brian are too good for that. They need to tour with Marc so I can close my eyes and hear QUEEN! Not Adam Lambert or Bad Company or anybody else. This is the first time in 20 years this is possible. Put Marc in Queen so we can hear the band again.

I agree about finding repetitive movements bothersome. David's were far more pronounced, but I am also noticing Marc's left arm curl-punch whenever he doesn't have the piano or guitar. It's the smallest criticism, and one easily fixed. Meanwhile I think he's phenomenally talented and he'll only get stronger. I so hope it works out for him.

@88purplekiss What I meant was that Roger sees himself in Cody by the way he acts. Roger was definitely the wild one. John, Brian and Freddie were the quiet, serious ones. On stage though Freddie was the wild one. Freddie turned into a totally different person on stage.
@88purplekiss I got excited with just two: Marc & Cody. I don't know. I enjoy performers who look like they really enjoy doing what they are doing. Cody told me that he knows he is not a great singer but he loves performing. His smiles on set were uplifting. He comes out of the session and yells. Roger tries to see them out but they moved too fast. They were further down the hall. I think Roger sees himself in Cody when Queen first started out. Roger was the crazy one.
@Yo1969Yo Marc and Cody were the two bright lights on the day when it really counted. In discussions with others we feel that they edited the videos to show the singers' best moments, and if some of them were weak, their segments were kept short for their own sakes. The girls did come off weak this time, and that is disappointing. The levels seemed off, singers couldn't hear themselves in the monitors. All in all a tough situation in which to give a home run performance. But Marc did.
@maplesugar98 The one I really wanted to see was David. I had such high hopes for him. I really wanted him to do good because I loved the way he carried himself in the audition tapes and hoping he could carry it onto the stage. Not so. Didn't care for all the foot stomping. Don't care for repetitive things. In the Queen Live Aid Full Video HQ they performed for 20 minutes. Freddie rarely repeated a move twice especially during Hammer To Fall.

@1kalika Also, a lot of hype were given to the girl singers over the weeks. I didn't say anything because I didn't agree. They were too weak and doing the heavier rock songs it will catch up with you. Yesterday proved it. I knew it was going to happen.

@1kalika Yes I have. Adam is a very good singer but he even admitted that he has trouble on some Queen songs. He said he studied Freddie's voice and he can't get the thickness Freddie has. He said it seems like Freddie had an extra muscle in this throat. It's a thick power and I find this lacking in Marc's vocals. People take it wrong and act like I'm criticizing. No way. I love Marc's voice. I hope his voice gets stronger. I think it can.

Here is my constructive criticism. None of the girls should be picked.
Marc was good but his voice needs more power. He sang off key a couple of times. In one part trying to catch his breath so he needs more conditioning. Stage presence was okay. Wasn't impressed with Cingi with singing nor presence.
Sean was okay and stage presence okay.
I need to see more. What happened to Tie Your Mother Down, etc.?
Audition videos were much better than the live performances.
@Yo1969Yo I agree and disagree with ya yeah ABSOLUTELY none of the girls should be picked and Cingi wasn't all that great I thought Sean was so so tho expected more from him from what I 've read him saying on the QE yt channel :-/ I don't think he "brought" it. And you should try going to a Downhere concert sometime he has the power :-)
@88purplekiss I've seen a few clips of Marc in concert and to me the true test would be the faster Queen rock songs. He should have sang with power yesterday. Was hoping to see him doing more rock songs. I hope they upload the rest.
QE will be playing in larger venues with a larger stage. We also need to be entertained so I guess my picks would be Marc, Cody & Sean. I would be happy with just Marc & Cody. Marc for vocals & Cody for entertainment. :)

People are going to want to see two things when it comes to QE, vocals and excitement on the stage. Young fans will want to see someone close to their age bringing excitement to the stage. I agree about finding repetitive movements bothersome. David's were far more pronounced, but I am also noticing Marc's left arm curl-punch whenever he doesn't have the piano or guitar. It's the smallest criticism, and one easily fixed. Meanwhile I think he's phenomenally talented and he'll only get stronger. I so hope it works out for him.

@88purplekiss Weird, isn't it? I think it's around 76,000 or 77,000 views now. You can guess the view counts when you switch the view from Date Added to Most Viewed in QE channel. Currently, it sits between Glenn and another singer's 2nd round auditions.

@88purplekiss What I meant was that Roger sees himself in Cody by the way he acts. Roger was definitely the wild one. John, Brian and Freddie were the quiet, serious ones. On stage though Freddie was the wild one. Freddie turned into a totally different person on stage.

@88purplekiss I got excited with just two: Marc & Cody. I don't know. I enjoy performers who look like they really enjoy doing what they are doing. Cody told me that he knows he is not a great singer but he loves performing. His smiles on set were uplifting. He comes out of the session and yells. Roger tries to see them out but they moved too fast. They were further down the hall. I think Roger sees himself in Cody when Queen first started out. Roger was the crazy one.

@Yo1969Yo Marc and Cody were the two bright lights on the day when it really counted. In discussions with others we feel that they edited the videos to show the singers' best moments, and if some of them were weak, their segments were kept short for their own sakes. The girls did come off weak this time, and that is disappointing. The levels seemed off, singers couldn't hear themselves in the monitors. All in all a tough situation in which to give a home run performance. But Marc did.

@maplesugar98 The one I really wanted to see was David. I had such high hopes for him. I really wanted him to do good because I loved the way he carried himself in the audition tapes and hoping he could carry it onto the stage. Not so. Didn't care for all the foot stomping. Don't care for repetitive things. In the Queen Live Aid Full Video HQ they performed for 20 minutes. Freddie rarely repeated a move twice especially during Hammer To Fall.

@1kalika Also, a lot of hype were given to the girl singers over the weeks. I didn't say anything because I didn't agree. They were too weak and doing the heavier rock songs it will catch up with you. Yesterday proved it. I knew it was going to happen.
Very rarely will you find a strong female singer. I told NelleTorre yesterday that Freddie collaborated with a female singer by the name of Jo Dare. This woman can sing!!!

@1kalika Yes I have. Adam is a very good singer but he even admitted that he has trouble on some Queen songs. He said he studied Freddie's voice and he can't get the thickness Freddie has. He said it seems like Freddie had an extra muscle in this throat. It's a thick power and I find this lacking in Marc's vocals. People take it wrong and act like I'm criticizing. No way. I love Marc's voice. I hope his voice gets stronger. I think it can.

@Yo1969Yo ya...it was an unfair situation for all the contestants...playing and singing with strangers, no time to rehearse, no sound checks...all in all, I felt sorry for all of them under the circumstances. And the site certainly did not deliver on its promise of non-stop videos, ..."we will not miss a beat"...and here we are, still waiting

Here is my constructive criticism. None of the girls should be picked.
Marc was good but his voice needs more power. He sang off key a couple of times. In one part trying to catch his breath so he needs more conditioning. Stage presence was okay. Wasn't impressed with Cingi with singing nor presence.
Sean was okay and stage presence okay.
I need to see more. What happened to Tie Your Mother Down, etc.?
Audition videos were much better than the live performances.

And you should try going to a Downhere concert sometime he has the power :-)

@88purplekiss I've seen a few clips of Marc in concert and to me the true test would be the faster Queen rock songs. He should have sang with power yesterday. Was hoping to see him doing more rock songs. I hope they upload the rest.
QE will be playing in larger venues with a larger stage. We also need to be entertained so I guess my picks would be Marc, Cody & Sean. I would be happy with just Marc & Cody. Marc for vocals & Cody for entertainment. :)

@88purplekiss I understand what you're saying about Cody but people have to look at the whole picture. People are going to want to see two things when it comes to QE, vocals and excitement on the stage. Young fans will want to see someone close to their age bringing excitement to the stage. I think Roger knows this that's why he was smiling when Cody was performing.
