Are they real nixi tubes because they look like 8bit displays in a nixi tube! (sorry im a newbe to all this) Cos my dads nixi tubes just look like wires in the shape of numbers!!
@Robobbly These tubes are Russian made Vacuum Fluorescent Displays or VFD's. Not a true Nixie. Sounds like your Dad has some real Nixie tubes there. I have plenty of true Nixie tubes in my other clocks on my site mentioned above
