unfortunately in war there is no heroic music playing. when a man is hit or wounded and dies, he dies scared, in pain and usually alone. it is not a game. charging into "war on a horse" is likely to end in two deaths: the horses and yours. i only say this as someone who has gone to war. since many Americans would not consider serving i feel this gives me a unique perspective.
