The reason why Kid Cudi is featured is because he has helped Dia Frampton with her music. He gave her his audience's attention and helped her with some other songs on her new alblum. Without Cudi, her alblum wouldn't be what it is now.

I'm PRETTY sure Dia asked Kid Cudi to be in this song... Because he's amazing!! His lyrics have just as much meaning as hers. It's not even like he's talking about money and girls. He's "rapping" about the SAME subject she's singing about, so taking out his part is kind of unnecessary.

@jordanml how wrong you are. Kid Cudi is more than a rapper, he is an inspiration to so many, including me. This song, it has a really deep meaning, especially to those who well, might be thinking about suicide. Cudi had a really hard time with life at times, and he has expressed this in his music, and Dia Frampton knows it. She added him knowing he could connect to every lyric, and make his own little rap verse to drive the meaning even deeper. That's why he was in it, not for marketing.

I wish she made a version without him. The rap interrupted the song for me and felt like a random addition just to have a known name attached to the album. It was a marketing strategy, but it just didn't fit the song.
