Man. I saw all of your videos... I just get vert inspired, you also got a GREAT family they supported you in every momment while rainning, when it was cold, nice dude.
Congratulations.
I just turned 14 but... im triathlete I just cant wait to be an Ironman :]
I just finished the entire series, and all I can say is wow! Incredibly inspirational! I'm just starting on my own journey to IMAZ 2009. I'll be watching your videos when my motivation is low. Magnificent job!!!
Impressive editing. Yes, I caught the "perfect moments" where the lyrics matched the photos or video just right. I needed to get inspired for IMFL 08. Thanks for the boost!
the final countdown made me laugh...a great end to an unbelievable documentary. cant wait for the '09, and ill be watching these on a regular basis to keep me training hard. thanks again
If I wasn't already inspired to do one of these, I surely would be now. What a supportive family! As I watched all of these, I thought "Thousands of people participated in the IronMan, but you seem to be the only one that posted this high quality video diary of it."
I just watch all 10, WOW thats great, and oh so awesome to watch. These video's where great, ya'll should win something for all that great work!!! YEAH 531!!!
yes every1 is tested, u pee in a cup and hand it in afterwards and results are given back after a few weeks after uv done the iron man, if u fail to give pee ur disqualified or wtever if u complete it or come in a good position. (u cant get proof of taking steroids out of your system for at least 12months) not that i care as ur only cheating urself if u take drugs to help...
Great video. You have a fantastic and supportive family. Thanks for sharing this video and inspiring all of us to want to compete in Ironman. Say, do you think steroids are prevalent in Ironman? Do they test? Just curious, since steroids seems to be involved in everything these days.
its 2:00am and i should have been in bed along time ago but i just had to see them all.
right now i'm pumped and i want to run on and on about all my goals and progress. but its easy for all of us to dream about becoming Ironman, you did it, Congratulations!
Thank you Chris for sharing your incredible journey! I have watched all 10 parts 3 times today. Excellent work! Could you please post the songs for each part as well? The music is outstanding and very inspirational.
I thought the two run segments were very well done. I did a google search and I think I found the songs that really moved me: one by Sheryl Crow and the other by Jars of Clay. Again, great job Chris and I look forward to reading your training blog.
Thanks everybody for the kind comments - I'm glad you've enjoyed the videos - I sure enjoyed making them. Getting tuned up for another go at Ironman Wisconsin '09 - here we go again!
Amazing! Congratulations Chris! Congratulations from a Spanish boy who dreams to finsih an Ironman someday! Thank you for your inspiration" Thank you so much!
Awesome job, Chris (and Team)!! I have been getting the triathlon "bug" for the past 5 years, and now I'm deciding to do something about it! My first sprint is in October, so I think I'm a few years away from my first IM, but I'm looking forward to it - woohoo! Your inspiration is contagious, so thanks. It's been great taking this journey with you.
Chris, I just found your videos and have watched them all in one sitting! I'm just getting into triathlons after running my first marathon and one day I hope to achieve what you did here.
Wow, what a great video! You are so lucky to have such great friends and family. Im looking to start training and reach the goal of completing the Ironman one day. Your video has helped inspire me! Good luck to you!
Thanks so much everybody, I'm really glad you're enjoying it - it was a blast to make the video, and of course to do IMWI. I'll take a few years break, I think, before beginning another grueling year of IM specific training - possibly '08 or '09, and likely Wisconsin again, though someday I'd like to consider Florida as well.
That was possibly one of the best IM documentaries I've seen. Thanks for doing such a wonderful job. As I head toward my first IM in Louisville this August, I would be happy with something about half of what you have here. Your family and friends showed incredible support and I really did enjoy it. I even found some awesome video of a leader of our tri club in your bike segment. Awesome job!
Great job Chris. I noticed the "to be continued" at the end of the video. Where will you be doing the next one? I was so discouraged after 2006 IM WI that I didn't sign up for next year. Then, a few weeks later, I was ready, so I'm doing Louisville.
LOL - Lindi, I was FREEZING! I don't even remember 17 minutes going by, only that I didn't have the dexterity to change clothes. I thought the same thing when I saw the results - 17 minutes?!?! Time flies when you're freezing cold, I guess!
Well done Chris, what a wonderful Ironman Journal, went through such a mixture of emotions from being as nervous as hell, to wanting to get out there and do it now. Hats off to your support team too!
This is a fantastic video journal! I was tracking my friend via the live web feed and I knew how crazy lousy the weather was - what an ordeal! I'll be watching this series again as I prepare for Ironman Florida this year.
Congrats to all of you guys. you´re great team. Hope we can race together at Wisconsin Ironman. Best wishes .

Hey there Joe - thanks very much! I'm glad you've enjoyed them (3 times in one day!!!!)
It'd be hard for me to go through and list each song, but if there are certain songs you're wondering about, I'd be happy to respond.
