This whole song is her comparing their love to a flame which she has kept burning brightly through all these years. It's a really sweet. :)

The first time i watched this film was when i was 6 yrs old, I liked the movie but i didnt understand at all, i just watched it again yesterday, in a tottally new light, this movie is a very tragic love story, and ev1 worked very hard for this film. Props to sanjay leela bansali, and the author cuz this movie is based on a book. =)
