@Mattlben94 Good idea. It would involve a rsync client for Windows scheduled to run with Task Scheduler. I'll hunt around for a good Windows client and see if Win7 even has Task Scheduler anymore.
Right now I'm compiling a list of things that I've been tweaking on my FreeNAS box and I plan on doing an update video.
@Ragable Great thanks I look farward to watching the next video, please inform me when this gets uploaded. I know that windows 7 still has Task Scheduler built in to it.
i made (not the computer) a fnas box, and use this from a lifehacker article to mirror it "rsync -avs --delete root@192.168.1.12:/mnt/freenas/ /home/mark/freenasb" it mirrors the main HDD to a folder called freenasb on my ubuntu
Easy fix to your computer problem, sell the mac.

why do I have to setup a rsync demon on the Frenas server? Also I'm using FreeNas 8 and I don't see rsync is as an option.

What kind of system you must have to install FreeNas? Does the pc has to be configure certain way in order to to install it?
