Everyone has an opinion, but as a dancer from the chi. Footworking is one of the most creative forms of dance there is. Especially out the chi. Think about it like this. The kids in this video have been to Paris Germany and many other countries showing their craft. Places that otherwise they might not have ever seen. For those who perform the art, they have found an outlet other than the negative options that are available in the street. Can't help but to respect that!!!

Interesting! However I must point out that most of those steps are old hip hop dances from the 80s. My man with the sky blue fitted was doing alot of the James Brown footwork but speeded up. And they must rep the much younger hip hop/house generation from the Chi. Cause I know for a fact that if you throw on Perculator or Follow me at a true underground club in the Chi or the NYC, you'll get booed out the booth. I respect the dance form though. Keep doin ya thing!!!

I was looking at some old black footage for this years Black History month..and stumbled on some old classic Whiteys Lindy hop and the Charleston..I f you look at the Charleston and speed it up..Its your typical Footwork and incorporate some B Boy moves..Its actually a positive for the culture and the struggle to be seen as more than "street dancers"..Illinois has the foot working as well as juking..When i moved closer to detroit they jitted,which was a another form of footwork.

It tight. But they do it, its complicated, for people who haven't been to chi-town. It they made a video with the basic moves, each one with the name of the move. If Charles or Jron made a video with the moves, I bet people would be all over it. All we need is just like 2-3 videos, and it'll be straight.
