@CTCism.....Just so that you know Wiccans do not believe in the devil, he is a Christian concept. A true Wiccan will worship either the God, Goddess, or Both. When a Wiccan casts a spell they do not believe that they have the power but rather think of a spell as a prayer with intention behond it. If someone does say that they have the "power" they are stuck in an ego moment nothing more. I hope this helps to give you a better understanding of the religion.

A clarification response to some of the comments here. Wicca is a religion. Witchcraft is a practice. You can be Wiccan and not be a witch. You can be a witch but not be Wiccan. You can be both. You can practice witchcraft and have a spiritual side to it, or you can be atheist and be a witch.

Wicca is a religion, it is one of many pagan religions. Other examples of pagan religions are Norse Heathen, Druids, Celtic reconstructionalists. The religion the Celts practiced is not like Wicca.

i agree, psychological things like that must be diagnosed and treated at least with some kind of medication, therapy or even hypnosis before consulting to magic. Spells don't always go the way they are planned to so they're not foolproof. Magick and ritual should be used after if none of the above work for the particular person.
