At first when my parents told me we were going to see Riverdance, It seemed so stupid but after seeing it, I'm so glad I went. They are all so talented and incredible dancers! Such an amazing show and experience!

when i saw riverdance in mobile alabama they had this segment on there and the entire crowd went to their feet for the three tappers and when they battled it out with the irish. it was such an awesome show and this was by far my favorite part of it

THe Battle of the Dances was my absolute fave in The Riverdance last night; it is fabulous! I encourage you all to watch it - the 4:23 minute mark is funny as heck! Ed, I hope you don't look like that when you do your Irish dance:)))) LOL!!!!!!!!!!

WOW - this is absolutely amazing. Personally I prefer the tap dancers but have to acknowledge that the Irish are just as skilled at their chosen art. Fantastic choreography and sheer perfection.

I agree, toe stands always look good, I used to do it in Irish dance too, we have our own way of doing it, its very sore though! almost every single one of my toe-nails became ingrown and infected, mostly likely due to toe stands =( and now my feet are nowhere near conditioned enough for it, bringing me to an educated point. DONT! try toe standing unless you have conditioned your feet for it, otherwise, you'll end up in hospital pretty quickly =)

OMG I love to tap dance and to see those guys tap dance puts me to shame! ahhahaha But Trading Taps was one of my favorite numbers when I saw the show back in '01 when it was on Broadway. I love the fusion of tap and irish step. It shows how two cultures can become one.

Well, I have this to say about American tap dancing, it's not as loud and as strong and as pretty as Irish Dance. :( I still like it though, it's classy, snazzy, even savvy. :3
