They have this game at an arcade i go to quite a lot of times and i have wanted to play this since the first time i saw it there but havent done it. Do u need headphones to play this cos i have seen people playing this but with some sort of headphones connected to the machine so am just wondering whether i'll need them too to play this and u just play using the touchscreen right? i.e there are no special buttons or anything u need to press.

@dragonemperor4eva You don't absolutely need headphones to play the game, people use them mainly to drown out the sound of the other machines/people and hear the games music better, you can use any pair of headphones you want by the way.

Played it while I was over in Thailand last month it's is a a ridiculously fun game.

@chanpengyu well the DJMAX Portable series (1, 2, Clazziquai, Black Square, Fever) are for the PSP. however this game Technika is an arcade game which uses a touch screen. im guessing the player recorded the other screen as there is a separate screen for viewing on the arcade version. DJMAX also has a PC version called Trilogy.

@DBLHNDR The idea isn't original, since the idea of making a DJ simulation game was taken by Konami long, long time ago for beatmania. But, the gameplay method IS original. DJMAX uses touchscreen, and Konami uses keys. Well, as long as it doesn't imitate beatmania/bmIIDX EXACTLY (like EZ2DJ), DJMAX will still be alive.
