  • I always wondered how come ducati bikes sounds so unique like it has 1 piston 4 stroke engine like a suzuki DRZ thumper kinda engine.

  • ywa and the neck pain that comes with it lol

  • any difference? to one wet and a dry one? just for looks?

  • does it affect the performance?

You know it being dry and all?

  • i kno little bout bikes n less bout ducatis, but wt is that grinding sound ducs make wen u start em, n wats that disk spinning on the side? i never noticed anythin like it on a japper...

  • the clutch

  • To everyone asking about the wet/dry clutches:

Ducati does make some bikes with wet clutches - the newer monsters, multistrada, and even the 848 all have wet clutches. Most pre-2005 Ducs and their high-end Superbikes have dry clutches however.

Performance-wise, the dry clutch is going to transfer more power from motor to wheel due to the clutch plates not having to overcome the resistance or reduced friction the oil causes. However, they wear out faster and the feel is not as smooth.
