Compare, Matthew 4:4 with John 6:35, KJV. Bread and water. Flesh and blood. You want that inter-personal connection, and not simply the voice and words over a phone line, I think. But if you had to choose, between somebody's presence, and his words... But if you have a letter from her, do you not also sense her presence near too? Whereas she beside you may not speak a word, though you sense she is there. God is Love. God is a Spirit. The Word was made flesh: See, John 1:1-14, KJV.

Need, as in, like OXYGEN... So, why do some forsake gathering?

Why do we communicate with each other via technology, whether

blogs or cell phones, or even toll-free-numbers? It seems impersonal,

like sometimes you are not sure if you there is an actual person on the

other end of the line... As opposed to a barbecue pit: With fire and bacon,

where everybody you know seems to be there.

But, how can you tell if somebody is a Believer, or not?
