@MikeyScooters98 No, He was born with empty sockets. Gus is an old boy now, 15yrs old, and he is having health problems that come with being elderly. It would be kinda dangerous and unnecessary to put him thru a surgery like that.
Cats who can go outside will bring their humans birds or mice that they catch. Its their way of thanking them for all their love and kindness. Since Gus can't see birds adn mice to catch, most likely he brings in leaves as a way to thank his human. Its so very sweet.
What a wonderful person you are for keeping and caring for a cat like Gus. I know people that would have a cat put down if they knew it was blind. Thanks to you it looks like Gus is enjoying a wonderful life just fine.
i love gus! i love my blind kitty sugar too. my kitty has not been outside much. she is just over a year old.i have posted a couple poor videos. i will post another of Sugar retrieving her mouse much like gus does with leaves.
What a special kitty Gus was. Love him bringing the leaves.
