what do you mean specifically when you say it did not work well in pro tools? i have pt8. im considering buying kore2 but dont want any unforseen problems. your advice is appreciated.
@THEREALtrappajohn haha Sorry for miss communication, I meant the East West Plug Ins V. 1.2.5 I was using didn't work well in Pro Tools 8 so I bought Cubase where Now I have no problems. But since the Vs. 2.0 came out for East West, They work fine in Pro Tools. I didn't mean that I had Problems with Kore or NI Komplete. Those work perfectly fine :)
@jazzmatik Cubase & Komplete 6 cost me just over $1000. I have 4 hard drives in my Mac Pro so I use One for my Main Drive, One dedicated to Recording, One for Sound Samples and one for Windows 7. I have a Drobo and a 2TB External for backups
Nice setup. I agree. I have the EWQL group of software components too. Did the mistake of buying Guitar Rig 4 Pro along as a download and can't upgrade the rest as a bundle. Gonna have to re-buy.
Only thing I don't like: that M-Audio Axiom Pro 49 you have. I have the same one and it works fine in 32-bit Vista. But for EWQL' sake, I upgraded to 64-bit and M-Audio are dinks when I comes to providing support for there keyboards. I can only use the keys on it. No hypercontrol.
@MacUserLogic im planning on building a new gaming rig(Gaming=can handle most stuff liek this :P) so yea once i build that ill save up for this. thnx btw!
@jusshane06 In this video I'm just using a cheap Ikea desk i bought 10 years ago. Its a pretty cool desk. Can't remember what I paid for it. I've just installed a new custom recording piano desk into the studio this weekend and will do an update video shortly once everything is wired up.
I like the monitor set-up. There seems to be a huge suite of plug-ins with Komplete 6. 8 install discs! I may get this but not before Trilian. I have tried a lite version of Cubase & will probably use it to help my non mac using students.
