hey k&n i was triying to install a short ram intake but a own made with intake parts. As i was done i started the car up and give it a little gas it would choke and the car will die do you happen to know why. Im sorry my grammar is terrible

@OTTOLOKS It could be the tuning of the tube itself. Keep in mind; all of our systems are tuned to work with stock programming of the vehicle. Your system could be too lean for the MAF senor to read. The placement of the MAF sensor is vital for the system to work correctly.

i hard that water can get into a airintake and mess th engine ?

@strickmans The intake systems will not take in more water than a stock system. It takes the entire filter to be submerged in water to pull it through. This system is a short ram, so the entire engine compartment would have to be under water for this system to pull water. We also produce Drychargers that repel water and extend service life of the filter.
