works out for me, I have tried it, works, I even saved the right situation to reproduce it all the time again, following problem:

if you directly use the vehicle it works out to use it, and to get the additional bubbles on your way, but if you don´ty ou can´t use the bubbles, AND if you manage to get to the end of the helicopter path in this level, you can´t move trough the exit on the right side (as you don´t have mario with you) that thus this is quite useless :(
