  • and those peppers are not that hot. try the trinnadad scorpion butch t

  • dude, the heat comes from the veins, not the seeds.

  • How did you get the pharm capsaicin? Or just a pure solid form of capsaicin? I can't find it anywhere. Please help!

  • you guys gotta try Prometheus Springs - it's a beverage with capsaicin, so it's got a little kick

  • Can you advise me where to buy oleoresin capsicum. Something like in the video, that contains all the good stuff. There is all sorts of stuff on the internet, but I want to buy from a trusted source.

You can send me PM. Thanks!

  • why do americans call chillies, peppers, they have no relation to peppers.

    call them chillies

  • any idea how many scoville units you'd have if you just put some habaneros thru a juicer? i never got why they go thru the trouble of making a tincture instead of just juicing them, & maybe preserving it with a little alcohol if you want.

  • @JackHighlander

you use alchohol to extract it.. would seem silly to store it in it.

pure cap crystals hit 16 mill scoville.. it doesnt get any hotter than that so far as i've ever seen

  • @Lynium no, i was saying why not just juice some habaneros & preserve the juice with a little alcohol.

  • @Lynium I think it was "Blairs" something or other.. it was rated at 17 million, but other than that, I thought 16 mill was the peak myself..

  • you should put the pharisutical capsaicin in crack to make people stop doin crack

  • I just bought some crystals and am pretty sure they're pharma-grade, is there a natural crystal extract someplace that I can buy, ( which would contain the other capsaicinoids ) along with it.

I checked out your website, didn't see an anti-wrinkle cream listed, how's that coming along?

  • With which method (s) could purify the CAP, in addition, as is the conventional chromatography??. It is known that unsaturation is what differentiates it from its analog DHC, as could achieve this end.

Not if I can brin information on the subject, such as articles, videos, books, etc.

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @juanDminguez

I'm really not sure of the exact methods and solvents used to create pure capsaicin because I only deal with natural resins and tinctures. For resins and tinctures, they used organic alcohol solvents since tinctures and resins are prepared for food products.

  • @juanDminguez the peppers are actually soaked in pure alcohlol to extract small amounts but you repeat the process a couple times to refine the capsacin ive tried it with the Bhut Jhalokia and its extremley potent btw pepper man is dead on its the same process for creating the tinctures

  • @pepperman911 i know capsaicin have properties like asprin. I just read about that and im not supposed to take asprin whatsoever because of the bleeding properties.(head trauma) are peppers going to be safe to eat?

  • @PsilocybinDream

Hot peppers are recommended by cardiologists for heart patients and patients with high cholesterol. They don't thin the blood like aspirin, instead they boost circulation and blood flow by opening up vessel pathways. Of course - always ask your doctor first.

  • how is capsaicin made?

  • @davidisraw Capsaicin is made from hot peppers of the capsicum variety such as cayenne or habanero peppers. Capsaicin is an extract that's derived mainly through alcohol solvent extraction from the peppers. It's then synthesized into a powder form that can be over 16 Million sku.

  • @pepperman911

    Resiniferatoxin is 16 BILLION scovilles!

  • only 500 000?? pure capsaicin is 16 000 000!

  • @svenno0007 If you put pure capsaicin on your body or up your nose, you will be sorry! For health benefits, you only need 500,000 sku.

  • i know they sell cayenne pills and powders, would filling up a pill full of the capsaicin powder be healthy or unhealthy thing to do?

  • @PsilocybinDream Do not use pure capsaicin powder to fill a capsule! It's very dangerous! Use cayenne pepper powder to get full health benefits without the danger.

  • Great vid!

I love orange habs & jalapenos!

I use them 2 cure my constipation.

  • damn pure capsaicin is rated at 16,000,000

  • 1:30

Liar, con man and a fucking pseudo-science turd. I'll never buy your product after you said that.

  • @CHVNX What did he say that is lying?

  • @klard

I wont watch the video again, but I assume it was something about natural being better than synthetic bla bla bla. Lies unfounded by science and if it was true most people wouldn't get their meds since the science would be bunk.

  • @CHVNX : He is probably right about the natural product being better for his purposes than the refined pure capsaicin. The reason for this is that the peppers contain not only the capsaicin but also many related compounds, capsaicinoids and whatever. It may be these related compounds that are really providing the benefit or it may be the mixture of compounds that is better than the pure capsaicin. You are one of those meagerly educated science snobs ready to attack .

  • hey if you like spicy try pickle mango chilli sauce..gotta get the good stuff tho

  • maybe it can cure cancer =p

  • Actually, it can kill cancer cells.....do some research.

  • Actually, it can kill cancer cells.....do some research.

  • In 2006 some Canadian researchers found that capsaicin CURED diabetes type 1, but of course the big pharmaceutical companies won't develop this cure because it is cheap!!! Maybe you would further find what is going on with diabetes and capsaicin, I am a diabetic and would for sure buy any processed capsaicin product for the diabetes!!!

  • This was OK./..but check out my YOUTube video where I chomp down a Ghost Pepper and teach you how to Grow your own Hot Chiles on YouTube...

  • I eat 1.5million scoville hot sauce every day, (Da Bomb The Final Answer) along with habanero chili hot sauce on pretty much everything I eat, but my right nostril is always stuffy. What's with that? Could it be that I was "addicted" to nasal sprays for a while?

  • @revilor234 : You may have a deviated septum which means your nasal airway passage is crooked and more restricted on one side than the other. Some people elect to have surgery to repair that.

  • LOL could you imagine this in pepper spray lol.

  • Probably is in Pepper Spray, Pepper Spray is 5,000,000 scoville, at least police grade... It would really have to be like 50% capsaicin to be any worse.

  • anthrax comes from mother nature too

  • Yeah...anthrax grows on cow dung. I bet it couldn't grow on hot peppers..LOL

  • I started eating peppers on a regular basis in late summer when the local grocery store began selling Long Red Slim Cayenne's. I've kept a chart on the amount of grand mal seizures and epileptic fit's I've had since 2005 , usually 1 to 2 seizure's every month and half a dozen or so moments of epilepsy.

Since I began eating the Cayenne's I haven't had one single moment of Deja vu. Not one. I told my doctor and he asked me if I wanted to try medical marijuana. Huh? They are hiding something.

  • You jackass, he's saying the peppers helped him.

  • So I'm the nigger for being able to read and structuralize a sentence? Huh.

  • i heard medical marijuana is just as amazing in treating epilepsy

  • Capsaicin is not actually found in the seeds, it is in the whitish pulp that lines the space between the wall of the uteris and the lumen... howver, capsaicin does have cancer killing effects. Check out the Journal of the National Cancer Institute's post from September 4 2009, Vol. 94, No. 17.

  • LOL COKE ADDICT SNORTS IT LOL!!!

  • You 'invented' that? It's just a liquid and capsaican

  • i am working on a project and was wondering where i could get 100% pure Capsaicin. and also how do you go about extracting it

  • Blairs 16 million reserve. 310 bucks for 1ml vial

  • damn

  • its so damn hot it cant be naturally grown

  • i just diced up two smoke dried jolokias in my soup and i'll tell ya man there damn hot.. i was literally pouring sweat from my forehead and had to sop up before it landed in my soup! i'd hate to see the cream... lol

  • thanks for taking the time to make this vid :)

  • its only 500,000 on scoville... habanero is 60,000...

  • The oleoresin is an extract and it's thousands of times more potent than the peppers themselves. It's concentrated!

  • Habanero is not 60,000. More like 200,000.

  • That's absolutely correct, and the oleoresin from Habaneros is around 750,000 because it's concentrated. Cayenne oleoresin is around 500,000. God I love hot peppers!

  • Ghost peppers top the chart at just over 1 million scoville units...

  • pure capsaicin is 15 times hotter

  • bhut jolokia surpass 1,000,000 shu!

  • capsaisin is 15,000,000 shu

  • ....i know

  • Hot peppers vary based on where they are from and where they are grown I have seen some jalapenos slam my ass when some just fizzle out liek green peppers... it really depends on the source and time of year I think. I find the same problem with habs but usually not so bad.. there are habs you can eat whole because they lack the punch of properly grown ones.. i think we see these most often up here in canada during the winter.

  • I eat all of those peppers for breakfast and shit them out for lunch

  • then you should have the life span of a mouse.

  • LOOOOOOOOOOL i would love to see some junky with his cocaine mixed with the capsaicin-powder :D

  • i would pay $15 to see it. Have to be nice pure power like 15,000,000

  • Why is Nathan Lane making videos for Youtube about hot peppers?

  • This guy isn't well informed. Capsaicin is not in the seeds, but is concentrated in the white fleshy pulp inside the pepper. The seeds only seem hot because they are connected to the the pulp. Also most habaneros are like 10-20 times hotter than a jalapeno. Jalapenos are 10k-60k Scoville heat Units, while a habanero is 150k-350k SHU. I do agree that peppers are medicinal if digested, but not thrown on your face! They speed up metabolism and can help weight loss too.

  • this is going to make sense because its obvious but i think its cool how if i eat 3 or 4 habanero peppers or even 1 the next day if i eat a jalopeno pepper it tastes like a bell pepper.. lol but yea i wanna eat a bhut jolokia

  • how come your pepper powder is brown. is it just the ground seeds. cos mine is red

  • Is Capsaicin a acid or a alkaline?

  • Im pretty sure it's a pepper

  • duh.. lol

  • EXCELLENT video, I love Capsaicin when I'm cutting during bodybuilding

  • Good video. Nicely informative and no stupidness. Thanks. Nice one.

  • Great video. But by the way, the 'heat' (capsaisinoids) are produced in the placental walls - not in the seeds. The seeds are hot because they grow off of the placental wall/veins.

  • won't capsaicin burn the skin face and left the skin sensitive to bacterias and dirt if it's used as facial wash like facial product that you have? and how effective is it for acne and it won't worsen the inflammation?

  • i want to see steve o snort that capsaicin powder lol!

  • I have better idea, I want to see steve o drink Blair's 16 million

  • 16 million isn't a liquid, it's the first thing shown in this video... pharmaceutical grade capsaicin powder.

  • oh sorry, let me to change my comment, I want to see Steve O shorting 16 million. XD

  • or snort it

  • I never thought you could compare Jalapeno to Habanero, I heard they were so much more hot! But I did try very hot Jalapenos

  • jalopenos taste like bell peppers after you eat a couple of habaneros.

i literally mean after like 2 hours after or the next day

  • capsaisin is a great way to torture. As someone said, it would be a good way to make an enemy talk lol. Too bad even if they say something, the pain wont stop until like 30 min LOL

  • No doubt, and it won't cause permanent damage, but it feels like it will....LOL

  • R O F L woooow LEARN TO TAKE A JOKE, DAMN! LOL

and lmao 1 piece that size would not kill u. change ur tampon.

ps- i dunno where u live but the cops there are very slow huh?

  • DONOT EAT THIS.........its gonna kill u xD no joke

  • I definitely believe it would work because. When I have colds I go to subway and add a ton of hot peppers to my subs and my nose is clear within minutes. Of course I'm skeptical about how long this product would last for be it momentary relief or long lasting.

  • Truthfully, the more you use natural pepper to clear out your sinuses the longer and better it works.

  • i wanna put that whole vile of capsaicin in a children's pool

  • omg evil BUT FUNNY!!!

  • lol evil genius

  • There is no heat in the seeds, its mostly in the membrane between the flesh and the seeds, the reason the seeds are hot is because they have been in contact with the membrane :P

  • how do you exstract capsaicin

  • In order to extract pure capsaicin, you would have to use certain chemistry processes to essentially boil off the resinsous liquids leaving you with pure capsaicin crystals. This is something that's beyond my knowledge although we do work with a few chemists that understand the process. We make basic natural extracts by using alcohol and sometimes cold press extraction methods to draw out the capsicum resins. That's about the closest we come to extracting pure capsaicin.

  • Trust me, it WORKS! It really does......The best thing ever..All my life I have been suffering with allergies/hayfever/sinus Headaches...But this has improved me greatly! I have used other nasal salt irrigation/wash, but SinusBuster lives up to its name!

  • if you really want to make good commercials, come up with a better nickname, and use more colloquial language.

  • hmm i wonder who posted this. duhh.

  • this comment is not fake or staged at all...no relation in any way to the makers or affiliates of nasal buster....LMFAO try an not be so obvious next time....

  • quackary

  • Not so....although I do appreciate your right to make honest comments. Our hot pepper based products really do work, and our Sinus Buster and Sinus Genie products are sold around the world. We have hundreds of regular internet customers from Australia, and many large distributors have contacted us from Down Under. Our products are FDA registered in the USA and also with Health Canada. Make no mistake - The science of Capsaicin is as real as it gets. Thanks for your comment.
