This Leonard Cohen-penned masterpiece made famous/timeless by Jeff Buckley may well be regarded as 1 of the GREATEST songs in music history. Having said that, I think it's good/fun/exciting for fresh/individual musicians like yourself to approach it. I'm so glad you did! The end result was special. I found it particularly catchy (besides UR soulful/powerful voice & gentle acoustic playing) because you gave it a very heartfelt/sentimental feel (less mournful than what we're used too). Nice work!

Leonard Cohen gets covered a lot but check out Brandi Carlile's version of this song.

It was recorded live on a radio broadcast I think and you can buy it from i-tunes. It's as good as Leonard's IMHO. I think the Cowboy Junkies did it also.
